It is new year, i have no resolutions whatsoever this time but i am happy the way things are :)
Well, anyways the start of the year got bit odd.. It was late and my friend called to wish (the first one to wish tho), unfortunately couldn't recognize her since i had no contact in my new phone. Sure i have pissed her off..sorry sweets., it was an honest mistake.
I do not wake up early in the morning until its absolutely necessary ;)
Since new year, i slept late but decided to wake up early and watch sunrise :)Watching sun early morning was like a tradition in my house not that i follow it, nor its serious but it seems when my mom was younger she used to wake up early everyday and finish chores and she used to watch sunrise standing on a well which was right in front of her house. She always used to say how beautiful it was and taunted me with stuff like "you never try such things"..i have done those so but not very often. When ever my mom makes papad or sandige (snacks stuff) she does it early morning which need to be put on terrace to make it dry., i have been part of those helping her and enjoying sunrise..
Well, anyways like i said i decided to watch sunrise yesterday.
So i woke up early and sat on terrace waiting..It was cloudy, it was cold and there was no trace of him anywhere. It was foggy and i started sneezing and i almost regretted sitting there yawning early in the morning missing sleep. Then my mother came up and looking at me she burst out laughing., it was more like "is that all you have got! patience..you need to wait" kinda laugh..i guess!! and then again she gave me this little story on when i was young......"" :)
Then it started, sky went crimson yet he was not visible anywhere, and suddenly it flashed to me, I thought let me try and capture few shots!! So in haste i ran down opened my brother's cupboard slowly and took the camera., (last thing i wanted was to get scolded by him early in the morning - the first day of the year :P) and i ran back up.
So, it started in that crimson sky, far in the east i saw that giant red ball., he was BEAUTIFUL. Surprisingly it felt very nice..
Here all few things i tried to capture him. I must say it was damn tough and every passing second he was getting brighter and coming higher and higher over the sky!! for an amateur like me - one decent image would have made my day :)
Initially i struggled a lot to even get a glimpse of him, so many trees and electric poles and wires! all i could get was bits and parts of him.
Seems all birds have gotten lazy!! there were hardly any few who were chirping around. All tiny ones moving too fast, couldn't capture anything flying by.
And this again,
Since i couldn't get any image right, i had to do this little stunt by climbing this semi wall near stairs. it was bit tall and it was windy., my legs started shaking :D anyhow i managed to stand for a while and take few shots.
And finally here he was...the pretty face :D
and this and next one!!
and finally, there was some kind of jet flying by i guess and i got this..
And there it was beautiful thing watched and enjoyed. I must say it was really beautiful thing. And it felt nice :)
First day was quite a pleasant day, i watched sunrise, helped mom with chores, finished a half read book...watched a decent movie later that night.
That classic of 1946, "A wonderful Life" :) it was quite a fantastic movie you see.
